Moto X Mayhem

I haven’t posted anything from moto cross yet, so here are some of the shots from step up, best whip, and best trick!

Myles Richmond gearing up for Step up.

Matt Buyten sailing over the step bar. He won gold by setting a new X Games record: 37ft off the dirt, three feet higher than last year’s step up height.

If I learned one thing at xg 17, it is that people go bonkers for free stuff. Buyten hyping up the crowd before step up.

Taka Higashino watching step up before tearing up best trick.

Jackson Strong’s victory lap after landing the first front flip in competition to win the gold medal.

We used this picture to hype the “Pastranathon” that was shortly derailed after Travis fell and broke his foot attempting a Rodeo 720 during Best trick. Travis continued on to race in rally later in the weekend. He is by far one of the most inspirational people I have ever met.

Cam Sinclair took home the silver with some killer moves.

Travis Pastrana before Best Trick.

Jeremy ‘Twitch’ Stenberg after wining best whip.

Todd Potter attempting to defend his Best Whip title.

Twitch and Todd at the medals ceremony. Gold and silver, don’t get much better than that!

Please make sure to stay tuned for more X Games because we are only just getting started!

Remember, you can still check out at many of my shots on the X Games facebook before I post them here. Also, If you like what you see don’t forget to tell a friend to follow me on twitter, like my page on facebook, and if you want to check out my inspiration blog on tumblr!
